IALT: write about Pink Shirt Day @ TPS

Today stands Pink Shirt Day @ TPS. The aim of today is to wear pink to help support the Mental Health Foundation. It's weird for me because just last night my cousin, 17 years of age died because of Mental Health! One thing I realised what that she had a disease which was "Bi-polar". It was sad to see she died, but at the same time she was getting support from the Mental Health Foundation so in order to surrport the supporters of her I've decided to donate and show my support by wearing 🌸PINK🌸!

The main purpose we wear pink is because of a boy in Canada. They say he had wore a pink shirt and by wearing a pink shirt he was bullied, because people judged him by the colour shirt he was wearing. Therefore regardless or judgements, and more bullies his friends decided to stand up for him and surrport him by wearing pink shirts for themselves.

After hearing about this story it made me wonder about how people can just bully, or judge people depending on the colour clothing or shirts they wear? I believe only your truest friends would stand up for you and support you in this. By preventing this from happen more often... I believe people should put their differences and judgements behind them and let people express who they are by whatever colour clothing or shirts, or pants they are wearing...

I believe that if it wasn't for foundation or help like this, people wouldn't be who they are, and people wouldn't have the ability to showcase who they are!
