IALT: talk and explain about how I read an article based on the North Island Of Auckland, is having floods, and power cuts!

After reading an article on One News, it states that after overnight raining and thunder storms, in the North Island, it had caused power cuts, and also floods! They say at 4.24PM, a severe thunderstorm warning had been issued and is expected to hit Rawene, Kohukohu and Punakitere which is in the Far North. Also at 4.21pm Ferry sailings from Auckland to Pine Harbour have been cancelled and replaced by bus. It reached 4.07pm and 31 people, mainly children from a Whangamata school group will spend the night at the Coromandel evacuation centre after flooding cut off the area, as reported by RNZ. Lastly it was only 3.59pm and More power outages across the Coromandel and Waikato, as Matamata loses electricity in 67 properties due to trees in power lines.

I think this is very unsafe, and depressing for those living in the North Island, and those living around the flood, and power cuts happening around the area. Hearing that overnight raining has been the centre of the issue, is very shocking, imagine what a weeks of rain could do the North Island, or think bigger to the whole country!

Reading this article has shocked me!
