I am learning to reflect on our school Duffy School Assembly
Yesterday afternoon, our school was lucky enough to have an amazing show presented and acted out to us known as the DUFFY show! This show to me was about how Global Girl was trying to save the world, but as she gets ready to plant grass, and flower seeds she confuses them because of her knowledge struggling to read. Along the way she meets Duffy, Duffy has been reading many books about many cultures, and languages, to her (Global Girl) Duffy was a reading rocket! She asks Duffy for help, and as they get further, and further a head of the journey Duffy sometimes communicates with people from different countries and cultures, in order to communicate with them. While there on the way to GLORY, Global Girl asks Duffy if he can help her so they can save the world together. Duffy is then given a CAPE and he LOVES it. Together their unstoppable but not only are they progressing to save the world but also progressing to help Global Girl read! Duffy had an idea in order for Global Girl to remember how to spell specific words. The words were mainly the words related to the seeds they were going to plant in different countries. She learned how to spell Grass with not only the help of Duffy but also us the audience. Duffy came up with a bunch of actions in order for us to do for her to remember. They travelled to a bunch of different countries as in Australia Africa, and much more amazing countries. At end they do end up saving the world, and together they are an unstoppable force doing things for the better of the world.
The highlight from my perspective from the Duffy show was when, Duffy came up with a bunch of creative actions in order to help for Global Girl to remember her memory.
I look forward to the next Duffy visit, and Duffy show!
