WALT: explain "What we think about Tamaki"?!
Today after our spelling test, we were given 2 questions related to Tamaki... We were put into groups of 4 people per group. Each group had to come up with as many idea's as they could.
The 2 questions given were....
- WHAT MAKES TAMAKI SPECIAL?
- HOW CAN WE MAKE TAMAKI A BETTER PLACE?
What makes Tamaki special?
- Our uniforms
- Our school values
- Our sports
- Our Students
- Our staff members
- Our Education
- Our Confidence
How can we make Tamaki a better place?
- Reflecting on the choices we make
- Thinking about the choices we make
- Having more cameras around the school
Reflection:
There were different groups, each group had the opportunity to share their idea's with the whole class.. Both the questions answered. We had a range of answers... I found this activity/task very interesting we used, and listed a range of idea's from each person in our group! We also let everyone participate, and everyone had the opportunity to share their thoughts and idea's with one another. This group task got me use to working in a group, and also using our team building skills with one another. Myself and the group I was working with, listed many interesting ideas that came from each person! Not everyone had the chance to share everything we listed but we did share a range of idea's.
Overall working as a team, I found very entertaining and interesting!!
