Today we were given all books to read. The main book I was given to ready about was based on Maori Television... I read about how their is a kinder garden episode of just showing children, how fun and easy learning Maori can be. Their is basically no English spoken in the making of this movie/episode! I also read about how the "Silver Ferns", want to also perform the "Ka Mate Haka", which the All black perform at every game! Some say it would attract more people towards netball, and also it would be more interesting, to draw attention towards their past, and yet achievements. Other say that it's mainly done my Maori Men, and because of that it should stay as mostly, Maori Men performing the Haka.
Also I read about how, Television production needs creative and inspirational people to make shows that we want to watch. In the book I read you'll see some people, who use their skills to create amazing television series, and documentaries. The programs shown in this book is very educational, enjoyable and dun! It is very entertaining, and brings more detailed information to my knowledge based on the Maori culture.
This book is a great book for children, and adults... a mixture of genders. It will help you realise the importance of the Maori Culture! Below this, will show images related to the Maori Culture!
